MeeGo is integrated Linux for mobile which was from Moblin mainly developed by Intel and Nokia's Maemo, and it is open source managed by The Linux Foundation.
Tablet products on which Intel's chips are implemented, and net book devices will be released in the future.
MeeGo is next generation's embedded OS because GENIVI Alliance which is a non-profit industry alliance committed to driving the broad adoption of an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) reference platform adopts MeeGo.
